Note: If you are using to install the KONTAKT Factory Library on a separate hard drive, please read to learn how to change the install location. To install the Kontakt 5 Factory Library on an external hard drive follow the instructions below:. Launch the KONTAKT 5 installer and follow the on-screen instructions until you reach the window labelled Library Destination Folder. Click the Change tab to open the Browse for Folder menu. In the Browse for Folder menu, navigate to the location where you wish to install the Kontakt 5 Factory Library. In this example we have created a new folder on an external hard drive called NI Libraries.

Confirm your selection with OK. Note: To create a new folder click Make New Folder located bottom-left of the Browse for Folder menu. The Library Destination Folder menu will now reflect the newly selected directory. Click Next to proceed with the installation. Related Articles.
