Unfortunately, the autofocus doesn't work (even though the green autofocus indicator lights up), nor does the sharpness correction rocker switch on the remote control when in manual mode. When using the latter you can hear the motor firing but it's obviously not connected to the front lens. This is probably the same reason the autofocus doesn't work. Perhaps it can be fixed? The box has some notable wear, as shown. Sorry but there is no instruction manual included. Please note that this will not work properly for thinner slides. For example I tried the 1.2mm thick cardboard Kodak slides that I have and they don't work as well. The other Agfa plastic slides that I have which are 2mm thick work perfect. Also it will not work as well if the slides are too tight in the magazine even if they are Agfa slides (they should have some looseness in the carousel).
